What have they done to Rey @_@ A couple of episodes ago I could see them setting him up to the Nichol of Minerva. Him being a quiet, supporting character who played the piano. Now where have they gone? He's become Shinn's Fllay. It's strange, you think it would be Lunamaria-the-Fllay-lookalike, who only eyed an ace when she found out his rank would become that character. No, Rey just tells her off as well. I thought Faith members could only be ordered by the Chairman. No, Rey just commands Faith Shinn back onto the ship. Sure it's for his own good, but could you see anyone else doing it? His power of Shinn and Minerva mirrors the kind of power Fllay held over Kira and the Arcangel. And like Fllay, I believe that the only way that Rey's influence over Shinn will be broken is if he's separated from Shinn, or dies.
And onto Meyrin Hawke. Contrary to certain people's beliefs, I still love her, even if her love for Athrun is "threatening" to break my OTP. Out of all the people who are in love with Athrun, herself and her love of Athrun is the least offensive. She isn't deluded enough to think that she should sneak into his hotel room and pretend that she's slept because him because she's impersonating his fiancee, and she doesn't think so highly of herself that she thinks her claim over him is stronger than his fiancee's. She a simple girl, who stepped out of her sister's shadow to become a heroine in her own right. And I love her for it ^_^. I don't blame her for falling in love with him. At least she didn't fall in love with him because she found out that he was a super ace, as a certain sister did, but because he saved her, and has taken care of her. And falling in love with Athrun isn't going to change that as long as the she has the decency to back off when she finds out that he's involved.
